back from my local caucus

I just got back from my precinct caucus.  Actually there at the library where we were meeting we had 7 precincts meeting there.  It was packed.  There were about 200 people there.  I have to say that the Colorado system is kind of hosed up.  We just had a straw poll there and then elected delegates and alternates for our precincts.  I thought it would be closer, but out of the, I think, 201 people, about 120 were for Mitt Romney, 30 for McCain, 18 or so for Huckabee and the rest for Ron Paul (one for Giuliani (not me... I know its too late for Rudy)).  So the delegates that we elected seemed to be pretty hard-core Romney people, but there's nothing to stop them from switching, at least at this level.  It was interesting though.
